pirobase CB® for Retail
pirobase CB® for Retail is a software platform optimised for the integration, management and monitoring of in-store solutions and heterogeneous data sources throughout an entire chain of stores.

pirobase CB® for Retail makes it possible to link and manage various current and future in-store solutions and effectively and uniformly distribute all forms of data. This is achieved by way of the comprehensive networking and integration of existing data sources with the various output devices and applications. Thanks to the open architecture based on standard technologies, new hardware devices may also be integrated into the existing infrastructure at any time. All common store hardware devices are supported.
Manageing processes in store and headquarter
In individual stores, pirobase CB® for Retail enables retailers to select between various hardware devices from different manufacturers; and provides clarity and consistency with regard to master data. The result: an open-system allowing the retailer more freedom to adopt and fully embrace current and ‘next-generation’ store solutions such as PCbased weigh-scales, self-checkout systems, automatic bottle return machines, poster and label printers, kiosk systems, advanced paper, coupon systems, ESL (Electronic Shelf Labels) and MDC (Mobile Data Collection).
Cascading Hub-Structure
pirobase CB® for Retail uses a Hub-Structure to keep an inventory, manage and monitor all store solution hardware and secure deployment of data between headquarters and each store. The integration of backend data and processes takes place in the headquarters via the Central Hub, and inside the store there are so-called Store Data Hubs as smaller footprint versions. These take care of the local hardware device-management and the delivery of data within stores.

As a cascading model, this structure can be extended to connect any number of stores, so the management and control of numerous stores and device hardware can be implemented in a scaleable and manageable way.
