The launch of an intranet application or website is the moment of truth for digital solutions. Employees and consumers are very quick to judge the quality of their experience and, therewith, the quality of the company providing this experience. Intuitive, user-friendly environments are the key to promoting employee efficiency and consumer satisfaction.
User centered requirements management
The foundations for later implementation are laid at the very start of a project. User requirements are essential, as this information is taken into account for the design of practical and efficient user interfaces. Our consultants collect and analyse user requirements for the respective application. During this process, all application cases are reviewed in detail and applied to so-called use cases in the modelling phase. The use cases are the basis for the work of the software architects.
Interface and interactive design
The requirements collected are consolidated in the design and conception phase and integrated into a specific user experience modelling concept. In communication with the parties responsible for the respective business and technical processes, functional specifications for user interfaces and information architecture are created.
Various methods may be used to integrate future users into the concept creation process, depending on the type of project. This ensures that the most suitable interface is always used for any given function.
Interaction in all channels
When When designing user experience modelling solutions, our experts not only consider conventional PC access, but are also aware of the opportunities and limitations presented by kiosk terminals, interactive television and mobile devices. As a result, users are addressed consistently on all channels and the specific interactive and communication channels are used optimally (see also “Multi Channel”).
