Cologne, 2 September 2009 – pirobase as a platform-independent Enterprise Content Management (ECM) solution: By way of fulfilling their market promise, the pirobase experts have enhanced the functionality of their software for use in SAP environments. In addition to database systems such as Oracle, pirobase CMS now also supports SAP’s MaxDB database.

pirobase CMS is already being used by numerous companies as an enhancement to the SAP NetWeaver portal. By using the NetWeaver technology and infrastructure, the SAP-certified solution facilitates the integration of unstructured content into different business processes. The high integration capability of pirobase facilitates simple and, at the same time, comprehensive content management without the need for additional investment in hardware, networks or data storage. The opening to MaxDB means that pirobase CMS has moved even closer to SAP users.

The fast and simple way in which we implemented it once again confirmed us in our belief that pirobase offers a solution whose advantages can be fully realised irrespective of the underlying infrastructures.”

The pirobase experts will be presenting their Enterprise Content Management platform from 29 September – 1 October 2009 at the DSAG Annual Conference in Bremen.
